A message from the Sugarplum Plum team 

 

We need to stay strong and keep our minds and bodies healthy.
Eating is by no means cancelled, and enjoying food and treats is not off limits.
The way we have socialised in the past has suddenly changed. Nobody really knows what the future holds.

Until March 2020, here at S.Plum, we have been responsible for supporting the community, by providing a ‘seven days a week ‘ service.
We believe that food and nutrition shapes our lives, it is also a fundamental part of who we are.
It gives us energy, comfort and can certainly lifts our spirits.

As a direct result of the worldwide crisis brought on by the Corona Virus, our family business in Rhewl, is now diversifying, (taking into consideration the government warnings and guidelines) we plan to continue serving food and drinks, but in a slightly different way. By changing the way we currently do things, we can support the local community and keep our local staff employed.
We are aiming to offer a selection of takeaway and delivery food options.
 

The tearoom is still open but only for takeaway/collection, and we are taking extra precautions, assessing by the day, keeping you updated with information that could change within a minute.
We are all doing our best to keep going, taking inspiration from this quote.........

The road ahead is upsetting for us all, but we need to just hope for the best. x
